Mac is the mechanic of the Watch Cars and even is like an uncle figure to the four, especially Maru when he called him uncle. In the later episodes we find out that he's friends with Aaron, one of the guardians. He's currently May's husband.

Mac and May's first meeting
He was an ordinary guy, but then he fell in love with May. When they first met, she dropped the book and he picked it up. He asked her out on a date every day, but she refused, He even tried to make her laugh, but she didn't like it. Then he decided to wait, everyday he sat near her door. Time went on and on with the same routine and in the end, she appreciated the devotion. Making him able to confess once again and let him purpose, finally being accepted.
